Implement These Five Things and Watch Your Showit Website Climb to Success!
Wondering how to make a strategic and professional Showit website? Creating a website design using the Showit website platform has never been easier! Fortunately for us, there are experts in every aspect of Showit web design and SEO who are constantly sharing helpful tips across all forms of social media.
While so much knowledge about creating beautiful and effective website designs is at our fingertips, sometimes the actual application can be more difficult. In the following list of Showit website tips, I have done my best to break down all the essential steps you need to take to actually build a great Showit website design.
A successful Showit website means a website design that appeals to your target audience, generates leads and sales, and showcases your business or portfolio in the right way. The goals for everyone’s’ website will differ, but from the most basic standpoint, your Showit website is going to be a salesman that never sleeps.
This brings us directly to our first point….
What exactly do you want your Showit website to achieve for your business? If you don’t know, your users certainly won’t either. And neither will Google! Define your goals and write down what a helpful website looks like for your business.
Goal Definition Exercise:
Combine the answers to these questions into a short summary, and print it off or put it somewhere easily visible as you work through the process of developing your Showit website. Make sure to revisit these when your website design is ready to launch, ensuring it fulfills all the criteria.
Website Strategy, while only one singular item on this list, is one of the most critical pieces. This involves taking the goals you wrote down in step one, and designing a realistic plan for achieving them. And, in turn, creating a successful Showit website! Think of website strategy as your roadmap to success.
This includes things like:

Clarity
Clarity, although somewhat vague as a descriptive word, is actually one of the simplest steps you can take to improve your website design. It means making precisely what you do crystal clear to anyone landing on your Showit website. Don’t leave Grandpa Joe guessing as to what your services might be. Your service or product offerings should be immediately displayed upon entering your website, and with so much clarity that no one can question what you offer.
Clarity Statement Exercise:
What products or services are you selling?
Who are your buyers, and why?
Why do these people need your products or services?
What problems are they having that you can solve?
How can you use images to create a visual representation of your services?
Use your answers to craft a concise one or two-sentence statement and prominently display it on your Showit website’s homepage, preferably at the top where it’s immediately visible.
Example: “I specialize in building strategic, results-driven Showit websites for women-owned businesses aiming to deeply connect with their ideal audience.”
Authenticity
Authenticity is major. Be the black sheep. Stand out from the rest, even if it means being unpopular. If you aren’t being true to yourself, or if you’re too closely copying what others are doing, people can smell it from a mile away. Lack of authenticity can be an instant turn-off for potential customers. You need to figure out what it is that you and your business stand for, and weave it into your Showit website through images and copywriting.
Authenticity Exercise:
What are some common methods or beliefs in your industry?
What is your stance on these beliefs, for or against?
What experiences or lessons (related to your industry) make you better at helping your clients?
In what ways are you different from your closest competitor?
Use the information you have written down throughout your Showit website, particularly on the home page, about page, and services page. Really make it clear who you are, and why your experiences help your target audience.
Note: Remember that people are primarily self-interested. They do not care about your story. People aren’t excited to hear about your random love of coffee or wild adventures, unless you can tie your experiences back to them. Make sure that the details you include about yourself are strategic and structured as “This experience shaped me, and here’s how it enhanced my services.” Treat this as more of a really fun resume than a personal dating profile.
The main two pieces of information I am thinking of for this section are Contact Information and Pricing Info.
These are often overlooked website details and are BY FAR the most frustrating to your users when they can’t find them.
How are users supposed to book you or purchase from you if they can’t find you or reach out with questions? Make your contact information easy to find on your contact page and in your Showit website footer. Including an address, or at least a city or area, in the footer can also benefit your Showit SEO by providing proof to Google that your location is genuine!
I know pricing information is a bit of a hot topic for a lot of service providers, and creatives in particular. Let me put it this way… If you don’t include at least a starting price on the services page of your Showit website, your users have only two options:
1.) Question if they can actually afford you and be forced to inquire with you, potentially wasting both of your time if the answer is no. (Hint: your users don’t like feeling forced to do anything and they definitely don’t like being embarrassed when they find out you’re out of their price range) This also means you will be fielding pricing questions a lot more frequently, as well as potentially having more leads ghosting you.
2.) Assume they can’t afford you and leave your website. I don’t think I have to tell you why this is not ideal for a successful Showit website experience.
So please, for your benefit and the convenience of your users, include some form of contact information and pricing details.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, which involves making your website discoverable by search sites like Google or Bing. Since nearly all website traffic comes from Google, that’s where I personally concentrate my efforts for myself and my clients.
So, how can we make Google like us enough to land us on the front page? (Because if your website isn’t popping up on the first page, it is not getting the traffic it deserves.)
There are a lot of step-by-step Showit SEO processes and all kinds of wild SEO guru information floating around the internet these day, but I like to keep it as simple as possible.
Before you start:
Set aside time to sit down and make a list of SEO keywords and short phrases you are hoping to rank for. Choose 5-10 phrases, and then head over to Google and run searches using those terms to see what results are returned. Pay close attention to “people also ask” and “related searches” to get some more inspiration!
There are two main, overarching types of SEO you should focus on:
1.) Technical and Code Elements: This one tends to scare people off, but don’t worry! Showit makes the technical part of SEO incredibly user friendly, and you won’t need to write a single line of code if you don’t want to.
Things to do:
2.) Content (Text) SEO: People tend to overlook this aspect because it doesn’t sound as official or terrifying as all the technical jargon about Showit Metadata and such.
Arguably, this aspect of SEO is MORE important and will do more for your Showit website’s discoverability than anything else.
Content SEO refers to both the copy on your website pages and your blog posts. It is important to include the SEO keywords throughout both of these forms of content, although blogs are where the SEO really shines!
Things to do:
Keep in Mind:
SEO for Showit and any other website platform takes TIME. You have to continually build your trust and authority with Google, as well as directly targeting your specific audience.

Yeah, I know. We covered a whole heck of a lot in this article. But don’t panic – take things one step at a time.
Focus on creating thoughtful answers to the questions asked in the exercises, don’t put too much pressure on yourself over the technical stuff, and don’t forget that help is available!
If your Showit website is starting to feel a little too overwhelming, don’t sweat it. Send me a message or write me an email. I am more than happy to help answer questions!!!
